to subsequent billing periods. Your continued use of the Services
after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

Resell, sublicense, or otherwise commercialize the Services

6. Your Content and Data

any ownership over your data, client information, documents, or

You grant us a limited license to:
- Store and process your Content to provide the Services
- Perform backups and disaster recovery

Create anonymized, aggregated analytics (no personally
identifiable information)
This license terminates when you delete your Content or close your
account.
6.3 Your Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- The accuracy, quality, and legality of your Content

Obtaining necessary permissions and consents from your clients
- Compliance with UK GDPR and data protection laws
- Maintaining appropriate backups of your data
- Professional obligations under UK accounting standards
6.4 Data Backup
While we perform regular backups, you are responsible for
maintaining your own backup copies of your Content. We are not
liable for any data loss.
7. Professional Obligations
7.1 Accounting Standards
You acknowledge that:

You are solely responsible for the accuracy of financial
information and advice you provide to clients

Our Services are tools to assist you; they do not replace
professional judgment

You must comply with applicable professional standards (e.g.,
ICAEW, ACCA, CIMA)

You are responsible for ensuring compliance with UK tax laws and
HMRC requirements
7.2 Client Confidentiality
You must maintain appropriate confidentiality and data protection
measures when using our Services to handle client information.
8. Intellectual Property

The Services and all related technology, software, features, and
functionality are owned by GetMy Ltd and are protected by UK and
international copyright, trademark, patent, and other intellectual
property laws.
8.2 Trademarks
"GetMy", "GetMyBooks", "GetMyReceipts", "GetMyProposals",
"GetMyResearch", and associated logos are trademarks of GetMy Ltd.
You may not use our trademarks without prior written permission.
8.3 Feedback
If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas about our Services,
you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use
them without compensation or attribution.
9. Third-Party Integrations

QuickBooks, Sage). Your use of these integrations is subject to:

reliability of third-party services. We are not responsible for
any issues arising from third-party integrations.
10. Warranties and Disclaimers

do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. We may
perform maintenance, updates, or experience outages.
10.2 Disclaimer of Warranties

LIABLE FOR:

13. Termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account
settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current
billing period.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:
- Breach these Terms
- Fail to pay subscription fees
- Engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
- Pose a security risk to our systems or other users
We will provide reasonable notice before termination unless
immediate termination is necessary for legal or security reasons.
13.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination:
- Your access to the Services will cease
- You remain responsible for any outstanding fees
- You may export your data within 30 days
- We may delete your data after 90 days

of that provision or our right to enforce it in the future.
15.5 Assignment
You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your account without
our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and
obligations without restriction.
15.6 Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays or failures in performance caused by
circumstances beyond our reasonable control (e.g., natural
disasters, wars, pandemics, government actions).
